We will take an in-depth look at different animals and learn about their characteristics and about how they are grouped. You will meet the grizzly bear, the rattlesnake and the bald eagle. You will also be introduced to the black widow spider and learn how high a cougar can jump.  You will even discover why flamingos are pink!
 
Animals In Africa
In this program we learn where Africa is and what kinds of animals live there, mammals, insects/spiders, birds, reptiles and amphibians. We take a closer look at many different kinds of animals and learn about their characteristics and how they are grouped. We meet the gecko lizard that cannot blink but has to lick itself in the eyes! We learn about wildebeests, baboons, giraffes, and elephants. Who are “The Big Five”? What does a secretary bird look like? How high can a termite mound get? We’ll also see who can live in the extreme environment of the desert.
