There are few things more dear to their owners than a favorite breed of dog.  Dogs have been bred and trained to enhance their individual characteristics and temperaments over decades of time.  Many of today's most popular breeds have ancestry from Europe and Asia and have been selectively bred to strengthen the most desirable qualities of their breed.
