When two high school girls meet and fall in love everything about their lives, their family's lives, and their social environment would quickly change.  For Andrea and Nelia it appeared that because of this one thing that made them both happy they would have to withstand mocking and rejection not only at school but also from family and friends.  It is important for each to decide if their feelings for the other is worth the pain they must endure.
